My Why

I’m a husband and father of two, looking for ways to grow, do good and create sustainable profitability. I work in two areas: (a) raising consciousness for individuals, teams and organisations and (b) entrepreneurship, innovation and venture capital - I believe our brightest future lies at the intersection of the two.

How I work

I am a skilled communicator that can explain complex issues in simple and (sometimes) humorous ways. I am a practical person that considers multiple perspectives looking for win-win opportunities when solving a problem. I enjoy connecting at a deeper level to create long-term relationships.

“Sherman is a natural - calm, self-assured and humble. He's particularly great at sharing his rich experience and making it useful for all of us. He was also able to develop a personal rapport with (seemingly) all 60 participants in just three days.” Consultant, McKinsey

“Sherman was really genuine, which helped him capture attention, you could tell he really cared. Really appreciated his insights from his own and others’ experiences. Explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand.” Founder, VC-backed start-up

“Sherman was a great coach and facilitator. We should definitely get him again for future engagements. A direct communicator with great questioning techniques (I honestly decided to improve the way I speak because of him) and with a great sense of humour and impeccable timing.” Commercial Manager, Main Roads WA

What I do

I create and deliver experiences that have impact, and catalyse change for the better. This can take the form of group/individual coaching, interactive workshops or lectures/presentations. I enjoy finding the right balance between theory and application through interaction and experiential learning and explaining concepts in fun, creative and memorable ways. Attention spans are getting shorter and Netflix is too entertaining so as experience designers we need to up our game.

What I Love

My family. My life. My friends. Observing the nature of mind. Genuinely connecting with other humans. Reading, mainly fiction. Eldin Ring (for now).
