Background

John has over 15 years Senior Operations Management experience and practices “servant leadership”. He effectively leads Manufacturing, People Development, Customer Experience, HSE, Quality, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence and Compliance functions. Extensive national and international experience with complex operations (including GMP, FMCG, Pharmaceutical and Chemical environments). Significant transferrable know-how and practical application.

Utilises empathetic leadership, authentic people focus, fosters collaboration and empowerment of teams with a no harm mandate; a team player who has vision, strategic alignment and strives to fulfil customer and business outcomes to the fullest.

John holds an MBA from Monash University, a Masters Degree in Engineering (Quality Management) from RMIT University, a Graduate Diploma in Business (Manufacturing Management) from Monash University and a Bachelor Degree in Science from Monash University. He is also a Certified Lean Green Belt practitioner and an accredited Mental Health First Aider.

I’m devoted in harnessing and transferring people’s qualities and values to business. Through true engagement and empowerment, people are allowed to shine and contribute immensely for greater sustainable solutions and outcomes,  

How I work

I am a doer.....I love to achieve, particularly when teams are on board and own the process.  By listening empathetically, by seeking to understand and allowing people to analyse and act (with some motivation and support by myself). The power of making mistakes, getting up, learning and moving forwards is truly inspirational.

What I do

I facilitate team workshops, 1:1 sessions, coach and mentor people at all levels from frontline to Executive, and provide advice/guidance to organisations seeking business excellence and growth.  

I get a buzz collaborating with clients and the joy they experience in areas of Leadership Training, Emerging Leadership, Team Unity, Strategy Formulation, Corrective and Preventative Actions/Solutions, Project Management, Risk Mitigation, Lean Management and Operational Excellence outcomes, Organisational Transformation, Change and Culture. As well solid Operational and Quality Management Systems implementation and Continuous Improvement enable me to be a trusted business partner.

What I love
